2-Year Limited Warranty on Parts and Labour
Fast Plumber provides a two-year limited warranty on parts and labour for materials supplied and installed by Fast Plumber.
This warranty covers defects in workmanship and the failure of parts supplied by Fast Plumber under normal residential use and service conditions.
- Misuse, neglect, improper operation or lack of maintenance.
- Damage or failure caused by freezing.
- Modifications, alterations, tampering or abuse.
- Conditions beyond the reasonable control of Fast Plumber.
Customer-Supplied Parts or Fixtures
Where parts, fixtures or equipment are supplied by the customer or another third party, Fast Plumber warrants the installation labour only.
Fast Plumber does not provide a warranty or guarantee on customer-supplied materials, fixtures, equipment or replacement parts.
Additional labour required to remove, reinstall, repair or replace a defective customer-supplied product may be charged separately.
Drain Cleaning and Blocked Drains
Drain cleaning and blocked drain services include a limited 30-day warranty against recurrence of the same blockage under normal use conditions.
Due to local drainage and system conditions, no warranty is provided for drain cleaning or blocked drain services performed within the Hamilton service area.
The drain cleaning warranty does not apply where a blockage is caused by foreign objects, grease buildup, structural defects, root intrusion, damaged or deteriorated piping, improper drainage design or misuse of the drainage system.
Recurring blockages caused by an underlying defect may require additional inspection, camera work, pipe repair or replacement.
Hose Bib Installation or Repair
Hose bib installations and repairs carry a limited warranty through the following winter season.
This warranty does not apply where the failure results from improper winterization, freezing conditions, misuse, failure to disconnect an outdoor hose or customer negligence.
Existing Conditions and Site Limitations
Adverse site conditions, aging plumbing systems, deteriorated materials, unknown piping configurations, inaccessible plumbing or other existing conditions may affect warranty coverage.
Fast Plumber reserves the right to limit or exclude warranty coverage where these conditions are present.
Any known warranty limitation or exclusion will be explained to the customer and documented on the estimate, invoice or work order before completion of the work.
Extended Warranty Options
In certain circumstances, Fast Plumber may offer a five-year extended warranty for an additional fee or as part of a promotional offer.
Extended warranty coverage applies only where it is explicitly stated in writing on the customer’s invoice, estimate, agreement or warranty documentation.
Warranty Limitations
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and the original installation address.
Fast Plumber’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective workmanship or parts supplied by Fast Plumber, at the discretion of Fast Plumber.
Fast Plumber is not responsible for incidental, indirect or consequential damages, including property damage, loss of use or water damage, except where responsibility is required under applicable law.
Warranty coverage does not extend to unrelated plumbing problems, pre-existing damage or additional failures that were not caused by the original warranted work.
Requesting Warranty Service
Customers requesting warranty service should contact Fast Plumber as soon as a potential issue is noticed.
Please provide the original customer name, service address, approximate date of service and a description of the issue. Warranty eligibility will be confirmed after the original work order and service conditions have been reviewed.
Fast Plumber must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the affected work before repairs or alterations are completed by another contractor.
